True Thankfulness

Well today is thanksgiving! Many people wait for this time of year and then they do things that they don’t normally do through the rest of the year, all the way up to the day before, and that is gather together, be thankful, and pray. We are with my wife’s family today eating good food and sharing in what we are thankful for and giving God honor and praise.  Here is a couple of Scriptures about thanksgiving…

Psalms 26:7 NLT

singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your miracles.

Psalms 95:2 NLT

Let us come before him with thanksgiving. Let us sing him psalms of praise.
As thanksgiving comes and goes I pray that you don’t move back into your same ole’ routine, and as a new year rolls around and it is time for new year resolutions, make it a point to enter the new year and go through the new year with praise and thanksgiving in your heart. Even when it doesn’t seem there is anything to be thankful for, there is… Take a look around there is so many things that could go wrong or happen in your lives that would change life as you know it forever! On this day truly count your blessings and don’t let this thanksgiving be just another day.

Become Dedicated… (And I’m not talkin’ about to your XBox)

Nehemiah 4:1-23 (New Living Translation)

1 Sanballat was very angry when he learned that we were rebuilding the wall. He flew into a rage and mocked the Jews, 2 saying in front of his friends and the Samarian army officers, “What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they are doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a day if they offer enough sacrifices? Look at those charred stones they are pulling out of the rubbish and using again!”

  • Sandballat is representative of the enemy, the devourer. When we start dedicating more of our lives to God, (Rebuilding the wall) the enemy gets mad, and starts with a defensive mechanism of making fun of us and trying to tear us down and keep us from coming closer to God.
  •

3 Tobiah the Ammonite, who was standing beside him, remarked, “That stone wall would collapse if even a fox walked along the top of it!” 4 Then I prayed, “Hear us, O our God, for we are being mocked. May their scoffing fall back on their own heads, and may they themselves become captives in a foreign land! 5 Do not ignore their guilt. Do not blot out their sins, for they have provoked you to anger here in the presence of the builders.”

  • Sometimes it is easy to let the attacks of the enemy and the thoughts of the mortal mind overwhelm us. The Bible tells us not to rely on our own understanding but rather to trust in the Lord with all your heart. (Proverbs 3:5) So when times seem very difficult we must call upon the Name of the Lord! We have to stand up and declare the Word of the Lord and believe that every tongue that rises against us in judgment will be condemned. When we pray the Scriptures we are praying God’s own words and He will move upon them. We know that it angers God when people are being abusive to His Anointed, so if we pray in this fashion He will fight our battles for us!
  •

6 At last the wall was completed to half its original height around the entire city, for the people had worked very hard. 7 But when Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs, Ammonites, and Ashdodites heard that the work was going ahead and that the gaps in the wall were being repaired, they became furious.

  • With much hard work you can make a lot of progress and when the enemy sees that your are making progress, despite his attempts to cause you to fall, it really ticks him off! But keep going you are mending gaps in your life and fixing things in your spiritual walk that have been damaged for years due to a lack of dedication.
  •

8 They all made plans to come and fight against Jerusalem and to bring about confusion there.

  • This is where the battle gets heated. When they see that the words and little things that they tried didn’t bring you down, then they start trying to get physical! And confusion is the enemies favorite weapon. Hang in there VICTORY is almost yours!
  •

9 But we prayed to our God and guarded the city day and night to protect ourselves.

  • PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! But also if you will notice it says they prayed “AND” guarded the city day and night. That means that we have a responsibility as well!
  •

10 Then the people of Judah began to complain that the workers were becoming tired. There was so much rubble to be moved that we could never get it done by ourselves.

  • Don’t give up yet no matter how much work seems to be done keep going!
  •

11 Meanwhile, our enemies were saying, “Before they know what’s happening, we will swoop down on them and kill them and end their work.” 12 The Jews who lived near the enemy came and told us again and again, “They will come from all directions and attack us!”

  • You see the enemy thinks you don’t know what’s going on that he can just swoop in, and if you are not attending a Spirit-Filled church this is more than likely true! But if you are going to a church that is operating in the gifts of the Spirit they can help you and they can warn you of things to come! The Bible says do not neglect to gather yourselves together with believers of like faith.
  •

13 So I placed armed guards behind the lowest parts of the wall in the exposed areas. I stationed the people to stand guard by families, armed with swords, spears, and bows.

  • These swords, spears, and bows are representative of our spiritual weapons. When we arm ourselves with prayer, fasting, praise, and worship we can go into battle with the best weapons that we could ever hope to carry.
  •

14 Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the leaders and the people and said to them, “Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your friends, your families, and your homes!”

  • For the Bible says that God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-discipline. It also says that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world!
  •

15 When our enemies heard that we knew of their plans and that God had frustrated them, we all returned to our work on the wall. 16 But from then on, only half my men worked while the other half stood guard with spears, shields, bows, and coats of mail. The officers stationed themselves behind the people of Judah 17 who were building the wall.

  • Talk to your fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord tell them what you are up against and they will have your back, if they don’t then they are not living their life according to the Word of God and you need to have their backs even in your situations!
  •

The common laborers carried on their work with one hand supporting their load and one hand holding a weapon. 18 All the builders had a sword belted to their side.

  • In every day life stay strapped up with the Word of God no matter what just as the Jews did here they worked with one hand and carried a weapon in the other… That’s Dedication!!!
  •

The trumpeter stayed with me to sound the alarm. 19 Then I explained to the nobles and officials and all the people, “The work is very spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. 20 When you hear the blast of the trumpet, rush to wherever it is sounding. Then our God will fight for us!”

  • When one of our brothers or sisters sounds a cry for help we must be quick to back them up! No matter what our social status or financial bracket, just as it says here (Nobles and Officials and all people), we are obligated to help one another.
  •

21 We worked early and late, from sunrise to sunset. And half the men were always on guard. 22 I also told everyone living outside the walls to move into Jerusalem. That way they and their servants could go on guard duty at night as well as work during the day. 23 During this time, none of us — not I, nor my relatives, nor my servants, nor the guards who were with me — ever took off our clothes. We carried our weapons with us at all times, even when we went for water.

  • This is a full time job 24 hours a day being devoted to God! We must labor around the clock to see that the work of the Lord is carried out and that our lives are close to Him. Never think that you get a break, don’t put your weapons down, the enemy will come and attack at your highest moments in life!
  •

Our walk with Jesus is so much more important than anything else we could ever think of. We have to dedicate ourselves to the things of God if we expect to make it to Heaven and if we expect to be successful in this life! We can not come into this thing and walk it out hap-hazardly, if we joined a gang and conducted ourselves in that manner and got careless our set-king or someone from the opposing set would realize it and we would be dead! And in Christianity we are dealing with a lot more serious issues because we can’t hide from God and the enemy sure enough has our number! In the book of Revelation chapter 3 Jesus said, 15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, I will spit you out of my mouth!” God is calling us to arise from our slumber and get on fire for Him! There is so many things that consume our time and we can become devoted to other than God if we allow them to distract us. Today make the decision to devote your life completely and totally to God, and see the difference that it will make!

Let Your Light Shine

Matthew 5:14 (NLT)

14 You are the light of the world — like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see.

We are called to allow our lights to shine in this world of corruptness and darkness. When we allow Christ to shine through us, people begin to see truth, love, life, and deliverance! We are to take on the image of Christ in this life and foil the works of the darkness, we do this by allowing the Light to shine through us, which is Christ Jesus! There is so many people that try to hide that Light they try to conceal it and not let people know they are Christians. For whatever the reason may be this is not right we should not do this. Even if we think that it might mean our jobs or our lives we are not to hide the Gospel. Not only is this foolish but it is also dangerous for a few reasons, let us take a look at the scriptures.

This is the first reason why it is dangerous and foolish to try and hide the Light of Christ in our life.

Mark 8:38(NLT)

“Christ Speaking”
38 “If a person is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, I, the Son of Man, will be ashamed of that person when I return in the glory of my Father with the holy angels.”

After everything that Jesus did for us He plainly tells us that if you are ashamed of Me (try to hide My Light) I will be ashamed of you. That is a very scary thought if you are not allowing your light to shine to the world, because what that means is, “I will not profess that I know you in front of My Father” and you will hear “Depart from Me you worker of iniquity I never knew you.”

Secondly if you try to hide that light you can end up bringing physical harm to yourself and/or the ones around you.

Mark 4:21 (NLT)

Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed to shut out the light? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine.

You see just as if you placed a candle under a bed you would cause a fire and you and anyone around you would be harmed and/or killed, so is it with trying to hide the Light of Christ. You begin to go into a self destruct kind of mode when you do this and one thing leads to another and before you know it you are completely backslide and living in sin again and we all know that the wages or the pay of sin is death!

Please don’t try to hide the Light of Christ in your life! Here is what the Lord said to me about our Light.

The Spirit says, “I want to see My people shine, for so long they have hid their light. They have been afraid of what the world might do to them or think of them. I have wanted to bless My people, but I can’t because they won’t let me.”

Filling The Void

We have all been through something in our lives. We have all faced hardships in one way or another. God has really placed in my spirit that there is a lot of hurting people out there that need help and need deliverance. Not only is people who are not living for God hurting, and have a void that needs to be filled but people that are in the Body of Christ that are hurting and need a void filled. The church as a whole has become very judgmental and high-minded, and they think that peoples issues are not for them to worry about and that it is just sin in the other person’s life, so we are left with a larger in hole in the already wounded soul. This is why we see suicides on the rise and why we see self-harm cases on the rise, because these people are crying out for help and no one is responding to the call! You see I have seen “Christians” turn their noses up at people for different reasons, I have seen “Christians” reject people for different reasons, I have heard of churches kicking people out because they found out that someone had different issues, e.g. cutting, porn, anger, and so on. It is in these vulnerable times that we need the church the most and they are turning their backs. The Bible says for you to take the Mote or Beam out of your eye so you can see to help get the speck of dust out of your brother’s eye, and what that means is when you are doing the same things you can not help someone else and you most definitely can’t condemn them. I feel the pain of these lost, lonely souls for I too once was a cutter and an addict, my heart goes out to each of you, and I ask that you please forgive me, on behalf of the church. Christians, DO NOT allow yourselves to a pawn of the enemy, do not place more hurt and pain on the “PEOPLE” for they are people as well… Remember what Christ said, “The well do not need a doctor, but the sick do.” And the next time that you are faced with a situation like this be the express image of Christ and love them and help them. If you are out there and reading this, and you’re going through a hard time, and you just need some help or prayer or someone to talk to, send me an email at streetminista1@gmail.com or give me a call at (850) 260-6309 and we will talk, and pray. Folks hear the call of God, stand up and come out from amongst the world and be different, LOVE SOMEBODY!!!

Burden of the Lord

The Lord says, “My eyes truly do roam to and fro through the land to see who will be faithful, who I can send. For I declare, My yoke is light and My burden truly easy.”
God is searching for a good and faithful servant to go out and proclaim the Word of the Lord. Isaiah 6:1-8 says, “(1) In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. (2) Hovering around him were mighty seraphim, each with six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with the remaining two they flew. (3) In a great chorus they sang, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” (4) The glorious singing shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire sanctuary was filled with smoke. (5) Then I said, “My destruction is sealed, for I am a sinful man and a member of a sinful race. Yet I have seen the King, the LORD Almighty!” (6) Then one of the seraphim flew over to the altar, and he picked up a burning coal with a pair of tongs. (7) He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.” (8) Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to my people? Who will go for us?”And I said, “Lord, I’ll go! Send me.”
The progression is that we have to understand that without the cleansing of God we are nothing, once we have been cleansed we can stand up and do the will of God, and then we must pursue after holiness. Today Jesus is calling you to stand up and receive the cleansing that only He can give and then for you to go for the Lord and be a faithful servant.

Riding the Fence

Look around you in society. Everywhere you look it is something to do with vampires or magic or just immorality. The saddest part of this growing trend is it’s not just the world but the church also, that is partaking in this. We have youth in the churches all over crazy about Twillight, Tru Blood, Vampire Diaries, Tinker Bell, Harry Potter, and the list goes on. The Bible tells us to shun the very appearance of evil not to embrace it. The Word also says to glorify God in everything you do. These kinds of things do not glorify God. There is so many pastors that are not telling their congregations that it is not right to do these things, and then even when they do a lot of people do not hear them because of the way they go about telling them. These kinds of things go against the Word of God, and many people believe they are true Born Again Christians while dabbling in the things of the world, but this is just not so. Jesus said you can’t serve two masters. Paul went on to say that whoever you loan your members to that is who you serve. So if you are partaking in these kinds of programs you are loaning your members to the world and so you are a slave to the world. I would like to close on this note, God says I would that you were hot or cold but since you are lukewarm I will spew you out of My mouth. Please hear the cry of God America and stop riding the fence!

Alright Lord

So it has been brought to my attention that I should start doing my on-line ministry again. I had let feelings of insignificance to detour me from doing this, but I had a brother in the Lord say to me the other day, “Did you have an on-line ministry that you have got away from?” I said what makes you say that…. LOL, anyway so I learned a valuable lesson that I just have to keep on going no matter what!!! So look forward to post in the next couple of days. I encourage you to get active with this thing comment on the post tell me what you think, also send me messages and let me know what it is that you want to know and I will seek the Lord and get a post on here about that topic. Anyway God Bless you all and I love you in the Lord Jesus Christ Holy Name!!!

What’s wrong here

You know, what do you do when you look around and see the Body of Christ in such sin? When you turn and you behold this one dabbling in witchcraft, and you look and this one is in idolatry, when you look over here and these are caught up in gossip and back-biting. I thought that the “Church” was supposed to be pure before God, spotless and without blemish!!! We as the Church wonder why we don’t see the move of God like we want to and why things aren’t getting better… But all the while we can’t see what we are doing to one another by our lifestyles, and the sad part is we don’t think that we are even doing anything wrong!!! We turn right back around and judge other people for doing the VERY SAME things that we are doing… The Bible says shun the very appearance of evil, and evil is anything that goes against God and Who He is, not necessarily some terrible acts of murder or something. It also says that stubbornness is as the sin of idolatry and rebellion as the sin of witchcraft. We go on to find also that the Bible says that “LIFE AND DEATH IS IN THE POWER OF THE TOUNGE” and that you either speak “BLESSINGS OR CURSES” but yet we are so quick to make rash judgements against people that we say we love, DO YOU THINK THAT CHRIST WOULD HAVE SAID SOME OF THE STUFF WE ARE SAYING!?!?!? No wonder the world doesn’t want anything to do with the Church, they can get the same thing from the world!!! I challenge you rigth now in the name of Jesus, evaluate your life, are you guilty of these things or even more? If you are, the true definition of repentance is a change of mind a 180 degree turn not just to say “God forgive me,” then turn to God with all your heart and pray for His forgiveness and His help for you to overcome these things.

Battlefield of the Mind

Every day we are tempted in some way or another. The Apostle Paul said, “we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities spiritual wickedness in high places and against the rulers of the darkness.” More often than not they choose to attack us on a mental level. For example about a week ago I was watching the news on tv, and as so many times before the review for vampire diaries comes on. Well we as Christians know that we should not watch programs such as these because they are demonic, well all of a sudden the thought pops into my mind that I wouldn’t mind watching that. Instantly I recognized what the enemy was trying to do, and I shut it down. Then the other day my wife and I were at Wal Mart and there appeared a girl skimpily clad and I caught myself glance at her, before anything could enter into my mind or heart I shut it down. There is millions of things that the enemy can temp you with and you have to war with it in your mind. Jesus said, if you look at a woman or man with lust in your heart, if y9ou allow thought s to go through your mind, you have committed adultery. Also if you are angry with someone for no reason, you are guilty of murder. As we think about things it transfers to our hearts, the heart brews it and it is manifested through the mouth and actions of man. The bible says, as a man thinks so is he. We have to learn that the mind is the easiest place for the enemy to attack us, and be ready for these things, because not only do we not have to do the actual act of certain sins to commit them but our thoughts can transform us from a Christian to a backsliden soul. Be ready brothers and sisters the mind is a very dangerous place, and a battlefield.

Out to Lunch

The life of a Christian and the calling that God has on our lives is not like a 9-5 where we work sometime and we are off other times. It is a full time commision that we are to persue every minute of everyday. I find that some people want to have a sign that says, “OUT TO LUNCH” when they get around certain people and when they are in certain atmospheres. This is just an impossibility if we are living this life the way we are called to live it. The devil doesn’t stop working just because it is after 5 and he doesn’t go out to lunch just because he gets around certain people. God wants us to realize that it is not a decision to live the Christian life but it is a lifestyle. I pray that God help us to examine our lives and see if we are one of the ones who try to make God’s business a 9-5, or are we full time around the clock sold out fanatics?

Inside-out

is this holy…

or is this holy?

We live in a world where people have been taught that “Holy” is on the outside. In turn people are judged for how they look, and it is said, “They can’t come to our church because they don’t look like us.” The generation of God‘s people that are arising are going to look different they are going to be different. I have met people who “looked holy,” but were some of the most unholy people you could ever meet, and people who by the others standards were not holy, who actually were. We see in the Word of God that Holy is on the inside not the outside. It says that what is in a man’s heart is what he will say and do, it also says that you can’t look on the outward but the inward to determine a man’s state. When we ask Christ in our lives does He change our clothes or our hearts? Does He say, “Nope, not until you put on a suit, get rid of those tattoos and take out those piercings” or does He say, “All I ask you to do is change your heart and give it to Me.”? Fellow brothers and sisters, it’s time we realize God does this thing from the inside-out!

The Purpose of Life

Ever wonder what your purpose in life is, or maybe what you’re supposed to do, maybe just, why? why all the drama? Well if so you’re not alone. Millions of people find themselves asking these questions every day. I too used to wonder these very things! A man said to me today, “I hurt, my family don’t want me, and I barely make ends meet, WHY?” “Why, Anthony,” he asked, and I told him what I felt God was saying. Jesus said, I came to do nothing but the will of my Father, I can only do or say what I see and hear of Him! I have come to find that without God we are on a dead end road, and there is no purpose. When we give in to the call on our lives and submit to God, we suddenly find purpose and hope. For it is not but through Christ that we even begin to live! Every one of us has a call, no matter what it may be, setting up churches, prophesying, winning souls, preaching, praying, being a mom, cleaning the bathrooms in the church and the list goes on and on. Some are destined for the big time other will lead a nameless, faceless life, some will be martyred and others will be exalted above the nations. The point God wants you to understand in this is this: No matter how great or how small you call may seem to you it is all huge to Him. Seek His face, ask Him to reveal what it is you are to do for His Kingdom. He will tell you. So today mighty men and women of God, stand up for who you are in Christ and be proud! God is…

Boldness

Heb 4:14-16
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,e Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.
16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

A lot of people are like, “God won’t understand what I’m going through and I just can’t talk to Him.” We see here in Hebrews that this is not true, that Jesus went through all the temptations that we go through every day and that He can relate. God wants us to know that we can come before Him boldly and say, “I know I messed up but please have mercy on me!” and Jesus is sitting right there saying, “Father, I went through that I had to face that and overcame it so remember me and forgive them.” God is not sitting up there with a stick or something waiting to knock us out when we make a mistake, it is quite the opposite, He is saying, “I know that you messed up but I love you and I want to help you overcome this thing if you will just come to Me and ask Me for help.” Not only is it when we mess up, but also when we need something, all we have to do is approach the throne boldly and ask. I’m so glad today that we serve a God that we can talk to, and He talks to us!!! Don’t be afraid draw close to Him and He will draw close to you, ask what you will and be bold, we have an intercessor sitting at the right hand of the Father waiting on us to come before Him.

Stop Complaining

Our society is in poor shape. Where people will lie to your face about coming to church and where people complain about getting up and driving just a little way down the road to church. Our nation still has freedom to worship and get together in churches, but if it keeps going the way it is, this will be a thing of the past! In other nations Christians are being murdered for their faith. New converts from Islam are desperately trying to serve the one and only true and living God and are being murdered! These are people who are hungry for God and don’t have freedom to worship or gather. Hundreds of thousands of people who just want to worship God in unity, no denomination or discord, and can’t. Yet America, being the spoiled nation it is, just wants to complain, argue, and be complacent! I’m here to tell you, God is not pleased with us. The Lord says, “Stop complaining I have blessed your nation beyond measure, and rose you up above the rest of the world, but judgment will fall for your sins and the whole world will behold! Turn from your wicked ways, repent, says the Lord, for there is an open door before you. You were once a great nation that many feared, but now you have become an open show to them. The principalities over this nation have been allowed to run rampant and take authority, I say to you stand and take back the land.” America, let’s join together and stand up for what is ours, remember it only took one woman to get prayer taken out of school, WHAT WILL BE NEXT???

A Time For Everything

1There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under heaven:

2a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

4a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

We had our last service @ Horses Saddles and Trailers here in Bonifay, this last Tuesday. We were out there for seven months and had an amazing time! We saw some people give their lives to God, people’s lives touched and people healed! So now God is moving us in a different direction, and we pray that our ears be opened to hear His voice. I want to thank everyone that came out, that supported us and that prayed for us. Every one of you hold a special place in our hearts and we pray God’s blessings over you all. Continue to pray for us, as we pray for you and we will keep you informed.
God Bless,

Like a Child

Inner Child

Do you believe that you can drop a piano on someone and they will turn into an accordian? Do you believe that Superman can really fly, or that dogs can talk? What about, do you believe that you can walk on water or see a leper healed? No… Well I guarantee you that if you have children they believe these things without ever even thinking twice about it. There is something beautiful about that innocence that little children have, and they believe anything. Daddys, if you tell your little one that you are going to take them to the park they believe you. Mommys, if you tell them that you are going to make their favorite dessert they believe you. The thought never crosses their minds that we are humans and might not be able to hold up to what we said, they just take us at face value and run with it. Can I tell you that we have a Father that is not human and lives outside of the realms of Earth and He will never go back on anything He says! Hallelujah!!!

Matthew 18:2-3 says:

Mat 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

We look at what Jesus said here and He was pretty clear on the fact that you must be converted. That word “converted” comes from the Greek word “strepho” which means:
to twist, that is, turn quite around or reverse (literally or figuratively): – convert, turn (again, back again, self, self about).

Let’s make this very clear, Jesus is not saying that you are to give up all responsibilities of being an adult. He is however saying though that your heart, thoughts, speech and faith must be reverted, or turned back, to Him as a child. Why, you ask. Well let’s take a look at a few different scriptures for the answer.

Acts 28:27
Act 28:27 These people’s hearts have become stubborn.
They can barely hear with their ears.
They have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes.
They might hear with their ears.
They might understand with their hearts.
They might turn, and then I would heal them.

Acts says, our hearts have “become” stubborn and our ears and eyes don’t hear or see. So that tells us that it was not in that poor shape to begin with, we were in communion with God!

Matthew 15:19
Mat 15:19 Evil thoughts come out of the heart. So do murder, adultery, and other sexual sins. And so do stealing, false witness, and telling lies about others.

Here we can see that our mind and thoughts are effected by our hearts, that it is the breeding grounds for evil thoughts.

Matthew 14:31
Mat 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Matthew says Jesus immediately stretched forth His hand and caught him ,Peter, when he called on His name. Jesus then rebukes him for not having the faith needed. But, we see that it is through Jesus that it is obtainable. Glory!

James 3:6
Jas 3:6 The tongue also is a fire. The tongue is the most evil part of the body. It pollutes the whole person. It sets a person’s whole way of life on fire. And the tongue is set on fire by hell.

And the tongue. Scripture pretty much says it all here, there is not much I can say that it doesn’t. But how scary is that, our tongues are set on fire by hell, hell owns our tongues unless we are converted and become as little children!

The Conversion

So How does this conversion take place? Well that is fairly simple.

You Must Be Born Again!!!

John 3:3 tells us:
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Being born again is as easy as believing that Jesus came and died ressurected and ascended on high to the right hand of the Father, accepting Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior, and professing Him in front of man.

Now when that is done the conversion has taken place!

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 tells us:

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Child like life

Folks, this child like life is amazing! When you are living for God and you have been converted as a child things begin to happen. Everything that we ask God has to be in complete and total faith, for it is impossible to please God without faith, which leads me back to what I was saying to begin with. A child just believes they don’t ask qustions they don’t wonder why or how they just know. Their hearts are pure they don’t know evil like us adults do. They also have such a pure speech that is almost angelic. This is what Jesus was referring to when He said unless you be converted and become as little children. You see little children have yet to sin, therefore they are more pure at heart than adults and this is why we must be born again “into the Kingdom of God” and become as a child, so we can come back into communion with The Almighty. Ever said, “I wish I could go back and be a child again!”? Well, this is your chance. You have the opportunity to go back to that pureness, innocence, truthfullness, and loving kindness of a child, and begin to see God move in your life here on this earth, and inherit eternal life!

I encourage you by The Spirit of God, accept Jesus into your life, turn every avenue over to Him and begin living a brand new child like life in The Lord.

If you don’t know Him as your personal Lord and Savior, ask Him into your life and believe that He gave His life for you.

If you already know Him but you have kinda slid away from being a child ask Him to help you with this, He will the Bible says ask and you shall receive. Pray this prayer and mean it with all your heart:
God, I know that you told me unless I be converted and become as a little child I will not enter the Kingdom. Father, I realize that I have slid away from this and I ask that you forgive me and help me. Give me the ability to have faith in you like a child again, give me the heart and mind of a child, and Father give me the unconditional love of a child. God, I thank you for this and give you all the glory in Jesus Holy Name, Amen.

Take a Breath

Take a Breath

Some times in this journey we call Christianity we find ourselves getting out of breath it seems. We’ve got families, jobs, ministries, friends and what seems an innumerable list of other things, that seemingly run us into the ground. This is a world where time is money, and success is synonamous with how big your house is or what kind of car you drive. So in turn people work themselves to death and do not allow any time for God. All this work and hustle-bustle, for what? Can we take what we gain with us to the other side, does it really make us any better of a person or does our souls achieve eternal life through all the things that we gain? In Ecclesiastes the preacher says that these things are all vanity, and that it really gains nothing, for he lived both sides of the story and wanted to find out what was so good about the things that the world had to offer. The more things that we put before God, the harder it becomes for us to breath. Our spirit man begins to be chocked out by the things of the world, because we see that we were created in the image and likeness of God, so our spirit naturally longs for God! The Spirit in scripture is referred to as “wind or BREATH.” When we immerse ourselves in God and His Holy Spirit we can breath freely and are able to live!!! In a time where everyone is in such a hurry God is urging His people to slow down, enjoy His blessings and take a breath.

The Eternal Rock

Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God is the eternal Rock.
God is always there for us, we just have to trust in Him and we can not be moved!!! Every time that we begin to doubt we just allow the devil to come in our house. If you think about a house that is built upon a solid foundation, a rock, and not something shaky that house can withstand the winds and the storms. How much more is the Eternal Rock than a temporal rock? When the waves of life come we can stand! When the winds of doubt blow we can stand! When the storms of temptations arise we can stand!!! Hallelujah!!! I encourage you in the name of Jesus, place all your trust in the Lord, and see how strong He is!!! He will never let you down or let you fall. He is our Rock and Refuge that will always abide through all eternity and will never crumble!!!

All that man is

Ecclesiastes 6:10-11
Whatever exists has already been named, and what man is has been known; no man can contend with One who is stronger than he.
The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?
What good does it do to argue with the Lord. For all that you are is already named. God knew from the beginning what kind of creature man was going to be. It is impossible to contend with One who is stronger than you, especially when He is God. The more of our vain words we use the less power and meaning they have, so accept the call on your life and move forward and further the Kingdom!!!

God is so good

Psalms 118:28-29
You are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Praise God no matter what your situation and He will bless you!!!

Bonifay House of Prayer

Well had an amazing service last night at Bonifay House of Prayer! God used me to deliver the word and it was awesome! I thank God for the call of an evangelist, and the awesome honor to speak His word!!!

Don’t give yourselves away!

I was thinking today… I have seen people throw their lives away, over drugs. I have seen them lie, kill, steal and destroy for drugs, even from their families and loved ones! Once you get hooked on that stuff you are laying in the devil’s bed! You see, you open the door to him and he comes in and your life is no longer your own, you are not in control!!! I have seen people emotionally and spiritually murder people, tear families apart and give their own souls away for a guy or girl. Lust spirits will drive you to do terrible things, and once you fall into their hands it is almost impossible to get out! Every time you lay down with someone you are creating a soul tie to that person and if it is not your husband or wife you are giving your soul away! Spiritual and physical immorality, these are the deeds that YOU condemn yourself to hell with… I speak on this topic so passionately because I have been there. It tears me apart to see people doing these things to themselves… Now, if you are a parent think about how you would feel if your child were to do these things. If you are not a parent think how your parents feel. With that in mind, think about how much more our Father, Creator God, loves us than any earthly parents could ever love, and think about what it does to Him!!! What I am saying is not a judgment or condemnation, but rather a plea for you to lay down your sinful ways and give your lives to God… The pain and suffering that comes from this lifestyle can easily go away and you can have a brand new life in Christ, if you repent, ask Him into your life and lay it all down. I pray that God speak to your hearts and bless you!!!
